Please always park considerately and make sure to save space! 🙏
You’re allowed to park our emmys in all public street parking spaces across Hamburg – including paid (managed) parking zones – and you don’t need to buy or display a parking ticket.
Parking on sidewalks is still not permitted and violates traffic regulations (StVO). Our emmys must always be parked so that pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users are not obstructed.
What you need to pay special attention to:
Public vs. private space
Public street parking spaces (including paid parking areas on public roads) are allowed.
Private or privately managed parking areas are not included.
Examples include supermarket parking lots, private parking garages, or other areas that do not count as public street parking. So: Never park the moped in areas that look like private property or managed lots, even if there’s no barrier or gate visible.
Also: Be alert for “sharing parking” red flags 🚩
Eyes up when choosing a parking space, because even when used mobility sharing for parking there are warning signalsđźš© where your alarm sensors should be armed if you park in public and paid parking spaces or collective parking areas. Please do not put the moped in any case
đźš© in front of driveways, fire lanes, emergency exits,
đźš© in stopping or no-parking areas,
đźš© in parks, in pedestrian areas or in backyards,
đźš© on bicycle paths or guidance systems for the blind,
đźš© within the 5-metre minimum distance from crossways.
Additionally...
đźš© is parking on hhv switch points prohibited!
đź’šPlease park in such a way that no other road users are impaired. Try to park in a space-saving way (at least 0.5 meters distance to the neighboring vehicle), so that our fellow citizens have enough space.
If a parking space is not suitable, please take the moment to find another one. This is not only in line with the sharing idea, but also saves us all stress and costs, because incurred parking tickets will be forwarded to the person who caused them and an additional processing fee will be charged. To be honest, we don't feel like that.
Here are some examples of how you can best park:
|
parking in a parking bay |
parking forward |
park in reverse |
And here are some examples of how you should definitely not park:
|
in parks |
|
in front of a fire brigade entry |
|
on a car-sharing spot |
on a bike-sharing spot |
across the sidewalk |
|
supermarket parking space |
at a supermarket bike space |
in a parking garage |
|
on a bus stop |
in front of a bus stop |
on a bicycle lane |
