A clear “yes and no”.
With the 24-hour pass, you can switch mopeds as often as you like. With all other tariffs, switching mopeds ends your rental and any remaining minutes and/or kilometers expire.
Is each rate tied to one scooter?
Yes!
- In the standard rate (€0.36/min) and in all combined time-and-distance rates (30min & 5km, 1h & 10km, 2h & 15km), your rate is always linked to exactly one scooter.
- If you end the rental or switch to another scooter, that rate ends, and any remaining minutes or kilometers cannot be transferred and will be lost.
Exception: 24-hour pass
With the 24-hour pass, you are more flexible.
- Once activated, the pass is valid for 24 hours, even if you switch scooters during that time.
- Within this period, you can unlock and park mopeds as often as you like without losing any of your remaining time.
Which rate or plan is right for you?
- If you are planning a specific trip or just a few rides and do not need to switch mopeds, our standard rate or the combined time and distance rate is your best choice. Just tap on a vehicle in the map, click on "View rate plans" and choose your plan.
- If you are out and about all day, want to change mopeds more often, or plan many short rides, the 24-hour pass is the better option. Just click on "emmy pass" in the app menu and activate the 24-hour pass.
