With a fully charged battery, you'll get around 100 km. Remember our rule of thumb:
1% battery = approx. 1 km range
Longer trips are totally fine – with emmy you can ride anywhere, even well outside our business area. The only rule: you can only end your ride within the emmy business area.
In plain terms: before you start a longer ride, check the battery and roughly calculate whether you can still get back. The 1% rule makes it easy: if the moped's at 60% and you want to ride 50 km, that's enough to go there and back.
Why does this matter?
If you get stranded outside the business area because the battery's dead, our service team has to pick up the moped. We'd then have to charge you for that and honestly: we'd rather not. A little planning saves you hassle and money. You'll find the exact fees in our pricing.
